Facial Hair Waxing Question ? Plz help!?

Hey guys, ok i have facial hair over my upper lip, it shows really badly ! I justed turned 13, is it ok for me too wax it using facial waxing strips ? And does all waxing stip products work the same? And how does the hair grow back? Thicker and darker, or thinner and lighter? And if i left it without waxing for like 2 months, what would happend?

OK. Don't listen to the girls that answered before. They probably have never done it themselves. Coming from someone you has had an upper lip problem since the age of 13, I say , personally, it doesn't work so well. The best results will be at a salon like Trades Secrets. If you do it yourself, it's fine but it might take a long time to do the whole thing. ask your mom if she can use her wax on you. If you have an upperlip problem chances are she does to. Ask her to do it for you. . . or go to a salon far away from your house if you too embaressed.

P.S. Miley Cyrus has the same problem as us.

Yes you can use the facial waxing strips no problem. But make sure they are for the face (I made that mistake before and ripped some skin off.) It should grow back lighter and thinner.

facial strips work ok, they all seem to be different. You could also try a hair remover cream made for the face or a hair lightening cream for the face. Personally I like the removal creme the best.

There are lots of rumors about how the hair grows back, but it is actually the same, no difference.

im 14, i shave like every 2 weeks, itll grow in thicker and darker if u do it more then once every 2 weeks and i WOULD NOT use waxing strips if i was you

look for the product that comes with a blue liquid(looks like that barbasol stuff) I used it on the small of my back, hurt like hell but it said to apply a bit of it to take off the stickiness and ease the burning

I think you can dissolve it with products like NAIR. I don't know about using wax strips on your face. Tell your Mom or Dad that this bothers you and you want their advice on which product to get rid of it..

If you left it without waxing for a long time, it would look like a soft mustage.. Is your hair dark..oh yeah..you say it shows really badly. Yeah.. ask your parents. They'll understand, especially since you're a girl. Don't worry..you'll be fine.

i have been waxing for about 5 years... and have really thin and light hair...the growth is the same though, i was really hoping for it to slow down but hasn't, mine start growing back with in two weeks but fully grow back in 4-6. good luck.

It's fine to use facial waxing strips, but make sure the strips are fit for the kind of hair you're waxing. (aka thin, thick, etc) Hair starts to grow back after about a week or so, and you should wax ever 3 to 4 weeks. The hair appears to be darker and thicker, but less of it. And if you didn't wax for 2 months, the hair would almost completely be grown back. Try not to have that happen because it would probably look worse then before!

Try Nad's (green stuff...comes in a tub or in a facial wand for smaller areas) It's gentle, and it works great. I use it on my eyebrows, and I love it. The hair always comes back thinner. Bonus: the cloth strips are reusable. Just rinse in warm water and let 'em dry!
