HELP! hair dye question..need opinions what you think?

i've dyed my hair a couple times..i've gone from light brown to blonde highlights to purple streaks to dark brown to black...

growing my hair out and want to change it again..i miss the blonde but don't want to go back to blonde cuz my hair grows fast and i hate it when roots show.

a friend suggested to do dark on top then light in the middle and blonde tips. not sure though if it will look good on me. but i also kinda wanted to go reddish/auburn or maybe a mix of reddish blonde/brown?

their hair is lighter on the ends because of the re-growth that occurred when they stopped lightening their hair, not because it was intentional

reds would look good on you, i would stick with the dark base you have and just add some auburn highlights in it
