Name of discovery channel show?

does anybody remember the show that came on discovery channel that had Egyptian artifacts in it, one of the artifacts was some kind of war vest that was sewn together to good that it was arrow proof. the show also had an old Egyptian guy with white hair, I think he might be the head of Egyptian archeology.

Name of discovery channel show?

I am sure the white haired guy was the head of Egyptian antiquities, (or a similar title like it). His name is Dr. Zahi Hawass. All Egyptologists require his and his committee in order to do any excavations in Egypt. He has an interesting website, worth looking at. The vest was probably made of leather, (which is highly arrow resistant). The sewn segments were most probably, little rectangles of copper or if less ancient bronze. The vest may have been displayed on one of Dr. Byrd's shows, (on the Discovery Civilization channel). Or a serial program that has people build ancient weapons (mostly seige engines or towers, etc..), . I forget it's name.

E-mail Discover channel and ask them.

Good luck.

Doc. Dan.

P.S. kevlar does not stop pointed weopons as it does bullets.
