i have a friend named lana who has really short layered hair and then long strands underneath and a real swoopy fringe

and its all her own hair.

Well if you really want your hair like this, then here's what to tell her:

Very short, heavily layered hair with far parted side bangs, and the bottom layer not cut. Jet black.

But your hair would have to be really long for this, the girl in the pic is most likely wearing extensions for the bottom layer of her hair.

That looks like a wig that somebody would wear with a witch costume. You should just tease your hair because It would look alot better and it's not permenent. Whereas if you don't like this haircut, your still stuck with it
