My hair is thick but flat?

so my hair is really thick but pretty flat on the top of my head

volumizing shampoos dont work and if i blow dry my hair up side down it is still flat on top but it makes the sides stick out in a poofy way and makes my face look really round(i have a heart shaped face with large round blue eyes and my cheeks are the type that don't ever show cheekbones)

how can i get my hair to not be so flat on the top(like where my part is)?

My hair is thick but flat?

you need layers. your hair is being weighed down which is why its flat at the top. I have the same problem.

Try Tresseme(spelling?) Curl Revitalizer and then finish with Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine. Works for me! Good luck!

My hair is thick but flat?

yeah i agree, layers would be the best way to go, i recomend choppy layers. your hair is weighed down because of the thickness and the length

and possible longer side swept bangs, not curled

and maybe try parting your hair to the side a bit

Get some layers. :)

and also maybe try and dry your hair by scrunching it up using products, which would make it look curly.

which I think would suit your face type. or curl it :)

the thing about your cheekbones smile massivly(on your own without people watching,or you either get nervous, or they laugh at you.) and use either blusher or bronzer and put some on, it give depth to your cheeks.

CURL IT....DAH

You definitely need some layers. Get short layers on top and make the layers longer through out the rest of your hair, as it goes down, also ask them to thin it out so it takes a way some of the thickness. Then top it off with some cute side or front bangs and you should be good to go :)
