i have dark brown hair and im trying to dye my hair hot pink but its not showing up. i have bleach you use for your clothes. if i put my hair in that will it bleach it?

DO NOT DO THIS! all this will do is make you sick. put peroxide all over your hair and sit in the sun or under a dryer for a while. or go to the salon and have them use hair bleach. ive had hot pink hair on my dark brown, too. best method is have them bleach it then go to a hair place(like Sally Beauty Supply) and get a bottle of pink hair dye.

for permanent- color charm (absolute best)

for temporary(anywhere from 2weeks to 8months)- Beyond The Zone or Jazzing(i know jazzing has a good pink color)

Please DON'T DO IT if you want your hair to stay in your head! It would be a disaster that wouldn't be pretty! Regular bleach is full strength! Even diluting it would be too strong %26amp; would cause breakage that you wouldn't believe! Very dark hair is hard to change the color of. Your best bet is to go to a salon (if you can afford it) or buy one of those cans of hot pink temporary spray color for hair.

Definitely do not use household bleach for your hair. That is a good way to fry your hair. It won't bleach it. It will just simply ruin your hair. Do not do it. Go to Target/Wal-Mart or where-ever and buy bleach for hair. It's not that expensive. Bleach for hair will damage your hair as well, but it won't be super bad if you keep it thoroughly conditioned. Just don't use Chlorox...etc.
