Is it ok to shave hair on face?

At the side I can start seeing hair and I want to get rid of it. Please show evidence if it will ruin my face because what I keep seeing is that everyone says I will start getting facial man hair. No one ever gives any kind of source though. Pics or something.

My cousin did that and her hair grew thick and she has to shave it ll the time now! Just wax and tweeze. When you can afford it or if you can afford it now, get it laser treated. I have this problem too and it grows in peach fuzzy.

You can also bleach if you don't want to shave or pull the hair out.

I also suffer from facial hair and have never shaved it...I would suggest you use hair removal for facial hair, (you can get them in any local supermarket or drug store eg. superdrug)

Hair removal honestly works and is not as painful as waxing and not as drastic as shaving!

no because theyll grow out ten times thicker. go to a local store like CVS or something and get a hair removal cream (Wipe-off) it will work and your hair will grow back thin. It wont work as well if you shaved your face...plucking hurts, waxing hurts, but the cream stuff works. :)

I dont have evidence to show you, but if you want evidence. look at your dad when he didnt shave ever when he was a kid and look at his face now.

just be really carfull because its your face and if you get "razor burn" it will be embarassing

NO, I've tried this (as a woman) and it gets rid of them sure, but our facial skin is so much different than a man's that it irritates it and causes pimples, whiteheads etc....

I'm not going to say that you will get facial man hair b/c everyone is different. I will tell you that men who want to grow facial hair shave to help it grow faster. Since the skin on a persons face is thinner and more delicate that other parts of the body, you should try a hair removal cream designed for the face. And you're very smart for not believing everything you hear b/c many women remove hair from their face all the time..... maybe not by shaving, but it's still hair removal (eyebrows, upper lip, etc.) and they don't get facial hair like a man. Just remember, if you do decide to remove the hair, do it with a product that is made for delicate skin.

It's obvious, don't you notice when you shave under your arm or else? Same goes with face. I once shaved my eyebrows when I was drunk and it grew back more bushy.

Honestly my friend shaves her face everyone tells her you has great skin. She puts soap all over her face and shaves. After she is done she puts alcohol on her face to prevent ingrown hairs
